Cherry Picked Styling is a service designed to wrap around the real you; your figure, your budget, your needs. The point is you don't have to be a celebrity to have a styling session, but we want to make you feel like one. And you don't have to spend a fortune.
With my knowledge of the best sources of vintage and second hand fashion, I can work with almost any budget. I'm also a fan of many ethical brands so can help you 'Green Your Wardrobe'.
Cherry Picked Styling will help infuse your look with a bit of flavour and blush-up your style from hair and make-up, to clothes and accessories. Using new items brought along by Nicola and old favourites in your wardrobe, Cherry Picked Styling will help create the looks that work for you and give you the tools you need to do it yourself. Although I have a passion for vintage - using it to create new and modern looks - the aim is to find a style that works for you and that often means drawing on modern as well as vintage trends.

Fully Picked - A full personal styling/makeover service which takes place over the course of a few days, possibly longer covering:
- Style Consultation
- Some Personal Shopping
- Some Wardrobe Editing
- Hair and Make Up
- After Care Service (two months)
You'll get to choose from the treasure chest of clothes i'll bring along, which ones you'd like to keep from the new looks we create and we'll take some nice snapshots to record them for you. I have a great seamstress too who can alter anything where necessary and you'll get a card to take away with personal shopping and styling tips. It's a full day of feminine fun.
Additionally, you will be entitled to the after care service for two months following your styling session which will enable you to consult me on shopping purchases/potential purchases and other styling related related issues.
This service is perfect if you have recently changed body shape significantly and need a bit of a wardrobe overhaul for example, mums returning to work or going through pregnancy.
Light Cherry - a relaxing and fun filled styling half day session. Perfect for a weekend morning, afternoon or weekday evening, we’ll create 3 key looks for you (day, evening and casual):

Shopping Buddy
If you are looking for a second opinion or you're just not sure where to start with all the shopping options and need someone to guide you, you can hire me to be your shopping buddy for the day. I can take you to some of my special haunts or we can hit yours, it's entirely up to you.
Pin Up Style Makeovers - we'll make you over in pin-up style and have you photographed professionally. You can choose a vintage look and we'll do the rest.

Angela Barwell's Light Cherry Session
Angela is a fair pear shape and fairly tall at that so I thought a maxi dress would look great on her - accentuating her upper half whilst skimming over the parts that she's more self-conscious about. Even though I think she has a perfectly flat stomach. She tends to go for quite young and trendy clothes so I wanted to try something a little more refined but in keeping with her funky vibe. I went for colours that would complement her hair colour and the print on the fabric has exactly the same tones in fact. I also thought turquoise would be fab for highlighting the blue in her eyes. The feather in the hair and chunky turquoise necklace give a more modern feel to her 70s dress.
Timma McKean's Fully Picked Session
Timma tended to dress in fairly conservative shapes and colours. She was also concerned that she had a bit of a 'swimmer's body' with broad shoulders and quite straight lines. To give her a more feminine look, I went for a floaty fabric with a low cut which draws attention to her waist and away from her shoulders. The thick belt pulls in the fabric to give the illusion of an hourglass shape and red tights brings her Vintage look more up to date, showing off her great legs.
Joanna's Light Cherry Session
For Jo's makeover, I used cream and gold as the dominant colour as she had a pale skin tone and slightly auburn hair and worked coral, red and black in to give more definition and warmth to complement this. I I also went for a more structured shape - A-line or 50s style skirt emphasising her waist and drawing the disguising her bottom half with a top which pulled in at the waist. A skinny belt worked well with this.
Her slightly ruffled sleeves balance her shoulders better with her bottom half which is slightly more pronounced in the hips giving her a more hourglass shape. The top which cuts quite low draws attention to the great bust she has.
